Title:
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009257614
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To continue an operation while preventing significant performance decline, even when any of a compressor, a fan and an expansion valve connected to a heat exchanger has abnormality in its actuator.

This air conditioning system uses an outdoor unit in which a plurality of compressors C1-C3, a plurality of fans D1-D3, and a plurality of heat exchanging sections comprising the heat exchangers E1-E3, expansion valves e21-e23 and thermistors e11-e13 are loaded. The abnormalities in the plurality of compressors, the plurality of fans and the plurality of heat exchanging sections are independently detected, the compressor, the fan or the heat exchanging section of which the abnormality is detected, is stopped, and the remaining normal compressors, fans and heat exchanging sections are operated to continue the operation. In a case when the abnormality of a part of the compressor is detected, and the compressor is stopped, performances of the remaining compressors, and the fans and the heat exchanging sections when necessary, are increased to perform the control to compensate the performance decline of the stopped compressor.
