Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compd. represented by formula I [wherein X is H, a halogen, CF3, 1-6C alkyl, COR10 [wherin R10 is a 1-6C alkyl or (CH2)0-6 aryl], CO2R10, CONR16R11 [wherein R11 and R16 are each H, a 1-6C alkyl or (CH2)0-6 aryl], CN or NO2, Y and Z are each H, NO2, a 1-6C alkyl, CH2CH2OH, CH2OR2, CO2R2 or CONR3R4 (wherein R2 to R4 are each H or a 1-6C alkyl)].
EXAMPLE: 7-Chloro-2-ethenyl-3,4,5,6-tetrahydrofuro[4,3,2-ef][3]benzazepine.
USE: An α-adrenergic receptor antagonist.
PROCESS: A compd. represented by formula II (wherein Ra is a 1-6C alkyl) and a compd. represented by formula III or IV (wherein M+ is Na, K or Li, Y and Z are set so that -CYZ is non -CH-CHO, -CH-COOH or -CHCONR3R4) are reacted.
