Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an aluminum alloy fin material suitable for obtaining a fin having <=0.12 mm thickness and >=2.3 mm fin pitch by draw forming and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This aluminum allay fin material with <=0.12 mm sheet thickness is the one having a compsn. contg. <=0.10% Si and 0.70 to 1.0% Fe so as to regulate <=8 Fe/Si, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, and in which the maximum grain size is regulated to <=30 μm. As for the method for producing the aluminum allay fin material, an aluminum alloy ingot having the above components is subjected to homogenizing heat treatment, is thereafter subjected to hot rolling in which the finishing temp. is regulated to <=250 deg.C and is subsequently subjected to cold rolling to regulate its sheet thickness to <=0.12 mm, and the maximum grain size after finish annealing is regulated to <=30 μm.
