Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject derivative having activities as a serotonin agonist and antagonist and useful as pharmaceuticals for treating disorders in the central nervous system, hypertension or the like by reacting a prescribed alcohol compound with an amine or the like.
SOLUTION: This derivative is represented by formula I {X is O, S, sulfinyl, sulfonyl or the like; Z is (CH2)n1-(CHA)n2-(CH2)n3 [n1 and n3 are each 0, 1, 2 or 3; n2 is 0 or 1; (n1+n2+n3) is <4], R0 is H or A (A is a 1-6C alkyl) ; R1 is H, A, OA, phenoxy, Ph, OH, F, Cl or the like; R2 is H, Ac (Ac is a 1-10C alkanoyl or a 7-11C aroyl) or CH2-R4; R3 is CH2-R4, CHA-R4 (R4 is Ph or 2,3,4-pyridyl) or the like; R5 is phenyl; R6 to R6 are each H, A, OA, phenoxy or the like}. The derivative is preferably obtained by reacting N-(3- pyridylmethyl)-N-2-chromanyl-methylamine or the like with a primary alcohol compound represented by formula II and an amine derivative represented by formula III or the like.
