Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress a peak value of the amplitude of a transmission signal of a multi-carrier communication system or the like.
SOLUTION: A transmission data generating section 10 generates digital form transmission data according to the OFDM system from transmission data. A limiter section 202 of a peak suppression section 20 uses a threshold value to limit the value of the transmission data. A subtractor section 204 subtracts output data of the limiter section 202 from the transmission data to obtain a difference data. A subtractor 206 subtracts the difference data from the transmission data whose timings are matched to suppress the peak value. A transmission section 12 converts the transmission data whose peak value is suppressed into an analog form transmission signal, further converts the frequency, and amplifies the power to transmit the resulting signal to a radio channel via an antenna 128.
