Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To require no high voltage switching relay by utilizing floating so as to avoid the withstand voltage increase of a high voltage power source.
SOLUTION: Two high voltage power source 7, 8 which can be complementarily switched between 0V and predetermined voltages are connected in series, a series connection point is grounded, a positive voltage side output terminal is connected to a scintillator 4, the output is voltage-divided 9, 10 and is connected to a conversion dynode 2 so as to complementarily switch two high voltage power source. Thereby, as applying a positive voltage against the conversion dynode 2 to the scintillator 4, the polarity of an ion acceleration voltage in the conversion dynode 2 is switched in response to minus ions and plus ions, the ions are accelerated and hit to the conversion dynode 2 so as to emit secondary electrons, and further the secondary electrons are accelerated and detected by the scintillator 4 so as to detect the ions.
