Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an anion generator from discharging large waterdrops to the outside.
SOLUTION: This anion generator sends sucked external air to a water injection tower 1. The tower 1 is composed of an air course section 11 and a water channel section 12, makes the air sent to the air course section 11 to flow in the section 11 while rotating the air, and generates anions in the air by splitting the water pumped up from a water tank 103 into very fine waterdrops by injecting the water into the rotating air flow. The water channel section 12 returns the excessive water produced in the air course section 11 to the water tank 103 as circulating water and can store a fixed amount of water. The air rotating in the section 11 is sent to a cyclone tower 5 and the water contained in the air is separated from the air in the tower 5 and returned to the water tank 103. The air containing anions is sent to the outside. The surface level of the circulating water stored in the water channel section 12 is isolated from the rotating air flow flowing in the air course section 11 by means of a shield plate 15 so as to inhibit the generation of waterdrops by curled-up air.
