Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate a space for containing a 1/2 wavelength long spiral antenna in the case of containing the antenna.

CONSTITUTION: In the antenna structure of a portable telephone set provided with a 1/4 wavelength long spiral antenna 1 and a 1/2 wavelength long spiral antenna 2, the 1/2 wavelength long spiral antenna 2 is contained in an inner space of the 1/4 wavelength long spiral antenna 1 and the 1/2 wavelength long spiral antenna 2 is driven by the 1/4 wavelength long spiral antenna 1. Furthermore, the 1/2 wavelength long spiral antenna 2 is made up of two spiral coils 2a, 2b or over and part of at least one spiral coil in the two spiral coils 2a, 2b or over is contained in the inside of the 1/4 wavelength long spiral antenna 1 and part of the spiral coils is exposed to the outside of the 1/4 wavelength long spiral antenna 1.
