PURPOSE: To allow the antenna to be used for a radio equipment using a high frequency radio wave over a very-high-frequency band or over, to manufacture the antenna inexpensively and to improve the antenna characteristic, the sensitivity and performance of the radio equipment and the stability.

CONSTITUTION: Antenna element conductors 10a, 10b made of a flexible conductors such as a metallic plate, a metallic thin film or an electric wire are arranged to band sections 2a, 2b respectively. The antenna element conductors 10a, 10b are made up of feeding antenna element conductors forming a half-wavelength antenna (dipole antenna) whose length is 2L1 (=λ/2) and parasitic antenna element conductors 13a, 13b of the same half-wavelength connected to an external terminal by a similar material arranged in parallel to form a folded half-wavelength antenna. A radio circuit section 6 supplies power from a center point of a half-wavelength antenna comprising the antenna element conductors 10a, 10b.
