Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the extension of braking distance as a result of anti-skid control by providing an anti-skid control prohibiting means for prohibiting a control means from performing anti-skid control while a control continuing time for monitoring by means of a monitoring means exceeds the control prohibition judging time memorized in a judging time memorizing means.
CONSTITUTION: In order to detect the state that control distance is extended because although anti-skid control is conducted, driving torque becomes larger than control torque, whether or not the time set in a monitor timer is larger than control prohibition judging tin is judged. This control prohibition judging time is set by measuring a maximum time from when car speed is shifted down to when a vehicle stops in anti-skid control on the normal road and low road beforehand and by reading out the value saved in a memory in an ECU 7, which is surely larger than the maximum value, beforehand. If the braking distance is extended, anti-skid control prohibition is demanded, and as a result, the braking state returns to ordinary braking state, shortening braking distance.
