PURPOSE: To improve the cushion ability a plate for architecture by forming a surface layer comprising soft synthetic resin mixed with chips and powder and granular of ligneous material formed on a base plate.

CONSTITUTION: A plate 3 for architecture comprises ligneous and soft surface layer 2 layered on a plywood-like base plate 1. A mixture of chips and powder and granular(size 50 - 500) of ligneous material such as wood chips, sawdust, or the like of 100 through 500 weight and urethane resin 100 is poured into a specified frame to integrally form a block. This integrated block is sliced into surface decorative sheets of a thickness of 0.2 to 0.3mm, and this surface decorative sheet is heated and stuck on the plywood-like base plate 1 to layer a ligneous and soft surface layer 2 on the base plate 1.
