Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antifogging and antifouling glass article usable for a window glass of automobiles and buildings and glasses, etc.
SOLUTION: This antifogging and antifouling glass article is obtained by laminating an alkali barrier film and a photocatalyst in the order onto the surface of a glass substrate and further forming unevennesses having 1.5-80nm arithmetic average roughness (Ra) and 4-300nm average interval (Sm) of the unevennesses on the surface of the photocatalyst. Furthermore, the glass article is prepared by laminating the alkali barrier film, the photocatalyst and a layer corresponding to a monomolecular silicon oxide or an organosilane containing at least one function group selected from the group consisting of a polyalkykene oxide group, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group in the molecule or a hydrolyzate thereof in the order onto the surface of the glass substrate.
