The antistatic atomizer comprises an electrode part 1 which holds water to perform the antistatic atomization of water, a counter electrode 2 installed so as to be opposite to the electrode part 1 and a voltage applying part 3 for applying high voltage across the electrode part 1 and the counter electrode 2 and constituted so as to antistatically atomize water in the electrode part 1 to spray ion mist toward the counter electrode 2. An ozone decomposing catalyst 4 for decomposing ozone produced at the time of antistatic atomization of water is arranged on the spraying direction side of the electrode part 1.
