Abstract:
To provide a novel catalyst selectivity control method for controlling the selectivity of a catalyst, and a catalyst composition for realizing the control method.
The catalyst composition, which is constituted by supporting an inorganic catalytic component and an organic compound on a carrier, is manufactured using a method including a process for supporting the inorganic catalytic component such as a metal oxide or the like on the carrier and a process for supporting an organic compound such as an organosilane compound or the like on the carrier by a covalent bond.
