Abstract:
To reduce the specific energy requirement or to increase the finished material performance in plants for comminution or grinding with a tube mill, it is proposed according to the invention that the tube mill has at least two grinding chambers, of which the first chamber, seen in the direction of flow of the grinding material, for autogenous comminution of the grinding material or the autogenous resolution of agglomerates of grinding material is not equipped with grinding bodies, and of which the second grinding chamber is equipped with grinding bodies, e.g. metal balls, for the grinding to finished material fineness of the material pretreated in the first chamber.
