Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and automatically clean a medium conveying roller.
SOLUTION: In execution of cleaning operation of rollers (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b), a cleaning sheet 10 is used as a conveying medium 2, transfer of the cleaning sheet 10 is coercively restrained against drive of motors 12, 14 driving the rollers (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b), and the rollers (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b) are wiped off by being raced to the cleaning sheet 10.
