To provide an apparatus for pouring molten metal which does not cause the oxidation of the molten metal when the molten metal is poured or when the molten metal is supplied or when a ladle is shifted and does not cause the occurrence of scale resulting from the oxidation of the molten metal left in a ladle vessel.
The oxidation of the molten metal caused when the molten metal is poured or when the molten metal is supplied or when the ladle is shifted, and the oxidation of the molten metal left in the ladle vessel are prevented by arranging an upper cover 3 for opening/closing a molten metal supplying hole 1a of the ladle vessel 1 which shifts between a molten metal supplying machine and a metallic mold and also arranging a pouring cover 5 for opening/closing the pouring hole 1b of the the ladle vessel 1, or arranging a gas supplying mechanism 20 for supplying oxidizing preventive gas into the ladle vessel 1.
