Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preventing snarling of a twist yarn, installable close to a cheese or a cone, capable of constantly and stably applying uniform tension to a running twist yarn, facilitating the attaching and detaching of the cheese or cone and quickly coping with cheeses or cones of various sizes.
SOLUTION: A ring member 4 crossing a yarn-winding cop B is attached via a supporting tool 2 to the tip end of the yarn-winding cap B attached to a peg 14. A ring-shaped elastic loop 5 is placed on the inner circumference of the ring member 4 and brought into contact with an unwound running twist yarn Y. The ring member 4 attached to the supporting tool 2 is made to be freely attachable and detachable by inserting the ring member into a hole 8a of a supporting piece 8 and fastening with a fixing screw 10.
