Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for production of gas added water of simple constitution capable of obtaining gaseous hydrogen added water and gaseous oxygen added water having a high washing efficiency.
SOLUTION: This apparatus has an electrolytic cell 2 which has an anode chamber 4 and cathode chamber 6 partitioned by a solid electrolytic membrane between both positive and negative electrode plates, a pure water supplying pipe 11 which communicates with this anode chamber and this cathode chamber, respectively, and supplies pure water thereto, an oxygen taking-out pipe 8 which is disposed in the anode chamber and takes out the gaseous oxygen added water and a hydrogen taking-out pipe 9 which is disposed in the cathode chamber and takes out the gaseous hydrogen added water. The electrolytic cell is disposed with porous power feeders in the anode chamber and the cathode chamber to attain the electrical contact with the electrode plates and is delineated from outside by the gaskets disposed on the outer circumferential side of these porous power feeders.
