Title:
APPARATUS FOR READING AND DISCRIMINATING CONTENT OF SURFACE OF PRINTING PAPER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3315061
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading medium content reading and discriminating apparatus capable of being arranged without generating large alteration at all necessary places in a printing work process.
SOLUTION: A light source composed of an LED and a reading unit 3 composed of a CCD linear sensor are arranged to a rotary member 1 constituted of a plate cylinder or a guide roller so as to be movable in the axial direction of the rotary member 1. The drive signal of the CCD linear sensor and the signal for forming the timing signal of the reading scanning of the reading unit are obtained from an encoder 8. The reading unit 3 is moved to a reading start position by a drive motor 4 to rotate the rotary member 1 to read the printing plate or printing paper within the reading range 7 preset from the reading start position on the surface of the printing plate or printing paper. On the basis of the read content, it is judged whether printing data such as the kind of printing, a surface name, a page, a plate name or the like is good.
