PURPOSE: To adjust the flow rate of molten metal by using a special movement driving apparatus for replacing a nozzle fitted to a molten metal discharging hole in a ladle.
CONSTITUTION: A driving apparatus 6 is ordinarily used for moving the new nozzle 1 and a head plate 3 to the position of the used nozzle 1' and head plate 3'. The driving device 6 can be used for adjusting the flow rate of the molten metal from the max. quantity to zero by using the moving function. For replacing the nozzle, the adjustment of the moving amount may be rough, but for adjusting the flow rate, the minute adjustment is needed. Then, a driving apparatus 9 having the moving function and a refractory base plate 10 inserted for corresponding to the driving device, are used and further, cooperated with the moving adjustment of the nozzle 1 with the driving apparatus 6 and thereby, the flow rate of the molten metal can be adjusted by a loading function such as three plate slide-closing apparatus. The driving apparatus 9 can be used also for replacing the refractory base plate 10.
