PURPOSE: To provide an applicator for a thermotherapy capable of safely applying the thermotherapy without giving ache and hot feeling to a patient.
CONSTITUTION: An applicator has an electrode fitting body l and a liquid bag 2 watertightly fitted to the electrode fitting body 1, the electrode fitting body 1 has an electrode 3 fixed to an opening at the lower section of the electrode fitting body 1, a fitting tool 11 is fixed to the periphery of the electrode 3 in the liquid bag 2, and a circular low-SAR insertion body 10 is provided on the periphery of the fitting tool 11. A cooling liquid 7 enters through an inflow port 5, is circulated in the liquid bag 2 to surround the electrode 3, and is discharged through an outflow port 6. A high-SAR area appears in the cooling liquid 7.
