Abstract:
To provide an arc starter device improved in the arc start property of an arc generating power source.
In an arc generating power source provided with a rectifier 2 which receives an alternating current power source and converts a direct current, an inverter 3 which converts the d.c. to a high frequency of several 10kHz, an insulation transformer 4 which insulates the high frequency, a rectifier 5 which rectifies the high frequency to d.c., a smoothing reactor 8, a by-pass capacitor 6, a high frequency generator 9 and a coupling transformer 7, the reactor 8 and the coupling transformer 7 are magnetically joined to each other.
