Patent Searching and Data

Title:
ARITHMETIC CIRCUIT HAVING INSTANTANEOUS RECOGNITION FUNCTION AND INSTANTANEOUS RECOGNITION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3639883
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize and judge external information in real time by applying comparison operation to a specified input variable group and plural pieces of data of a specified memory circuit by a parallel processing and selecting a code corresponding to data satisfying a prescribed condition.
SOLUTION: A two-dimensional image sensor 101 is constituted by a bipolar image sensor 103 and a processor 104 constituted by using a neuron MOS transistor. The transistor compresses data from a picture element, grasps the feature of a picture and outputs a feature vector 105 formed by the sixteen groups C1-C16 of multilevel signals, for example. Namely, one group of the input signal group constituted by the plural analog signals is converted into a small analog variable from the analog signals. A large scale memory 107 stores and holds plural pieces of data constituting the plural analog variables as one group. Plural pieces of data in the large scale memory 107 transfers a comparison computing element 106, which compares them with the feature vector 105. A winner take OR circuit 108 selects the most similar data.
