Abstract:
To provide an arithmetic unit capable of expressing a state indicating an arithmetic result by a positional relationship of a plurality of skyrmions moving in a circuit.SOLUTION: An arithmetic unit 1 includes a skyrmion circuit 10 formed, on a magnetic film 100, by patterning a circuit portion 11 where skyrmions S can exist and a non-circuit portion 12 where the skyrmions cannot exist, and a reading unit 20 that reads a state representing an arithmetic result based on a positional relationship between a plurality of skyrmions whose movement paths are restricted only to the circuit portion 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
