Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armrest device of chair, which can perform the position adjustment of an armrest to the left and right when the user of chair has changed or the works with the chair are changed, and which secures the optimum arm supported position for the user by transporting in such a way that the moving distance to the left and right differs between in front of and behind the armrest.
SOLUTION: An elastically deformable member 6 is attached to the front extremity 4a and the tail 4b of an armrest supporting member 4, and a fit groove 10 having a left-right width good greater than that of the armrest supporting member 4 is formed at the rear surface of an armrest 3 to be attached to the supporting member 4, and the armrest 3 is put on the supporting member 4 from above in such a condition that the deformable member 6 is detained resiliently with the front and the rear inner wall of the fit groove 10.
