Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlocking device for a latch claw having a smoothly sliding latch claw, making smoothly the opening and closing operation of a door without generating unpleasant metallic sounds at that time, suppressing the abrasion of a member from frequent opening and closing operations of the door and enabling the manufacture of it at a low cost.
SOLUTION: A latch claw in a door is interlocked with an interlocking hole 13 bored in a door frame 12 of a steel library body 11. An approximately U-shaped resin latch holding member 15 is fitted to an edge side part interlocking the latch claw of the interlocking hole 13 therewith. An interlocking projection 17 inward of the steel library body 11 is projected to the side of the interlocking hole 13 on the rear side of the door frame 12, and an interlocking hole 18 with which the interlocking projection 17 is interlocked in a fitting state is provided to one piece section 15b corresponding with the interlocking projection 17 of the latch holding member 15.
