PURPOSE: To enable an article to be housed and conveyed with no damage by forming a pocket adjusting means by the first supporting member supporting a rotary center side part of the article and the second supporting member supporting a conveying direction rear side part of the article.

CONSTITUTION: In the case of changing size of an article 2, an adjusting means adjusts a position of the first supporting member 19 in a radial direction of a rotary unit 11 while a position of the second supporting member 20 in a peripheral direction of the rotary unit 11, and size of a pocket 18, formed in the peripheral surface of the rotary unit 11, is adjusted to the size suited for conveying the article 2. In addition, supporting a center side part of the article 2 by the first supporting member 19 while a conveying direction rear side part of the article 2 by the second supporting member 20, the article 2 opens its conveying direction front side. Thus in the case of supplying the article 2 to be housed in the pocket 18, even when the article 2 is supplied displacing its position to a conveying direction front side for the pocket 18, the article is in no collision with the first and second supporting members, while even in the case of discharging the article, it is discharged with no damage.
