Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transfer device which can stack an article at a transfer destination without breaking the article with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An article transfer device 10 transfers a conveyed article S from a supply conveyer 12 to a discharge conveyer 14. First holding heads H11-H14 and second holding heads H21-H24 are alternately arranged along a circulation movement path CP. The article S is picked up from the supply conveyer 12 by using the first holding heads H11-H14 in a pickup position P0, and is placed on the discharge conveyer 14 in a transfer position P1. Then, the next article S is picked up from the supply conveyer by the second holding heads H21-H24, and the next article S is stacked on the article S which is previously transferred by the first holding heads H11-H14 in the transfer position P1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
