Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rationally carry out surgical operation by providing the assembly with an anchor member to receive a part of a suture member free to connect and disconnect through an engagement member on a head end of a slender shaft of a driver for holding and constituting both end sides of the suture member to be connected and held on the driver. CONSTITUTION: A driver device 10 has a shaft member 12 fixed or connected to a holding member 14, and in case of installing an anchor 16 on a bone, the anchor 16 is installed on a projecting part 22 on an end of the shaft 12. A suture member 18 is arranged through an opening part 24 of the anchor 16, and two ends 26, 28 of the suture member 18 are respectively wound around fixed supports 30, 32. The projected part 22 is engaged with a socket 34 for fitting of the anchor 16, and it is stopped falling by engagement to a pair of opening parts 42 arranged on the side of the anchor 16. The anchor 16 has a conical or tapered and rounded head end, and a plural number of projected edge parts 62 arranged in the circumference are engaged and installed in holes formed on the bone.
