Title:
ASSEMBLY STRUCTURE AND ASSEMBLY METHOD OF LOCK RESET COIL SPRING FOR SEAT SLIDING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3474370
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling workability of a coil spring for resetting a lock position.
SOLUTION: In a seat sliding device, an upper rail fixed to the lower face of a seat is slidable in relation to a lower rail fixed to a body floor, and an operating rod 39 is rotatably supported at bearing parts 45 of an upper bracket 41 fixed to the upper rail. A locking claw is fixed between the bearing parts 45 of the operating rod 39 and can be engaged with a locking hole provided in the lower rail. A coil spring 53 is insert-fitted to the operating rod 39, and an extended part 53e of a supporting arm 53b is temporarily supported to a temporary support face 51a of the upper bracket 41. In this state, a rear end engaging part 53c is twisted by the specified quantity and engaged with a rear end groove 57 of the operating rod 39. In this state, the coil spring 53 is further pushed in to make a locking part 53d enter into a locking slit 55 of the upper bracket 41, thus preventing slip-off of the coil spring 53.
