Title:
LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLAT AN ITS TREATMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3474371
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent printing quality without white spots in an image part by incorporating an acetylene glycol compd.
SOLUTION: Acetylene grycol is a compd. having acetylene bonds (carbon- carbon triple bonds) and alcohols (ROH, wherein R is an alkyl group) in the molecule, and especially each of two carbons adjacent to triple bounds of the alkyne have two hydroxyl groups. This acetylene grycol compd. is incorporated into a lithographic printing plate. By this method, corrosion of an aluminum supporting body during storage after the production of a lithographic printing plate and before the plate making process can be prevented. Or, corrosion of the aluminum supporting body is prevented by treating the plate with a developer containing an acetylene glycol compd. Or, by adding an acetylene grycol compd. to a soln. and/or finishing soln., corrosion of the aluminum supporting body when the plate is stored after the plate making process can be prevented.
