Abstract:

To achieve a connection which is inexpensive and is superior in positioning precision and makes a connection part compact, when connecting different types of connectors.

An attachment is used when connecting a first component being one side component of a first optical connector having prescribed external dimensions and a second component being the other side component of a second optical connector having prescribed internal dimensions larger than the prescribed external dimensions, and an external form of the attachment corresponds to an internal form of the second component, and an internal form of the attachment corresponds to an external form of the first component, and the attachment supports the first component and the second component while giving a pre-load to them.
