The electronic apparatus is a rear projector which is connected to portable telephone sets in communication and also is equipped with a control board for controlling an apparatus main body. The control substrate comprises; an information acquiring part 5142 which acquires the identification information of the portable telephone set; a speech recognition file searching part 5143 which searches a speech recognition file based on the acquired identification information; and a control signal generating part 5144 which generates control signals for controlling the apparatus main body based on speech information inputted from the portable telephone set and the speech recognition file. Further, the control substate is provided with; a liquid crystal panel control part which drives the apparatus main body based on the generated control signals; a tuner; and the like.
