The audio signal apparatus is provided with a control means in which, when a high frequency signal detecting means detects a high frequency signal, a selecting means and a switching means are controlled so that an interpolation processing section may perform the first interpolation processing to an audio signal input from an input means, and in which, when the high frequency signal detecting means does not detect the high frequency signal, the selecting means and the switching means are controlled so that the interpolation means may perform the second interpolation processing to a first interpolation audio signal input from a first interpolation means.
