Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more reliably prevent unauthorized authentication.SOLUTION: An authentication device comprises: a line of sight detection part (22) that specifies the angle of the line of sight of a subject, and detects, of the directions of the line of sight classified into a plurality of types, the direction of the line of sight corresponding to the specified angle of the line of sight; an authentication permitting line of sight direction setting part (23) that sets the direction of the line of sight permitting authentication; a living body determination part (24) that determines whether the detected direction of the line of sight is the direction of the line of sight permitting authentication, and executes authentication; and a display control part (26) that displays, on a display part (14), an image indicates the type of the direction of the line of sight in setting the direction of the line of sight permitting authentication, but does not display the image on the display part (14) during the execution of authentication. The living body determination part executes authentication by selectively using either one of the specified angle of the line of sight or the direction of the line of sight according to the state of detection performed by the line of sight detection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
