PURPOSE: To reduce the required time for automatic preset by storing data of a prescribed channel when a discrimination means discriminates the presence of a prescribed channel broadcast.
CONSTITUTION: A discrimination means such as a microcomputer 10 discriminates it that broadcast comes to a prescribed channel when an AFT (automatic frequency tuning) voltage C at a 1st frequency lower than a specified frequency of a prescribed channel by a prescribed value is a prescribed value or over and when the AFT (automatic frequency tuning) voltage C at a 2nd frequency higher than a specified frequency of a prescribed channel by a prescribed value is a prescribed value or below. When the discrimination means discriminates it that a broadcast comes to a prescribed channel, the data of the prescribed channel are stored in a storage means 9 and preset therein. The operation above is executed for each channel. Thus, it is not required to preset each channel while a frequency is deviated little by little and whether or not a broadcast comes to a prescribed channel is immediately discriminated by one discrimination.
