Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of operation for automatic transaction unit by customer, besed on the idea that no sequence is given to the operation between the card insertion and the key depression of transaction type selection. CONSTITUTION:When the magnetic card 11 is inserted to the card insertion slit 13, the card detection code recorded on the magnetic stripe 12 is read out with the magnetic head 14. The shutter 15 is opened with the output of the magnetic head 14, and the card is fed to the card reader. The output of the magnetic head 14 is fed to the first input of the AND gate 31. The second input of the AND gates 31, 32 is both at ''1'' level, since the both are via the NOT gates 35, 36 respectively when the output of the interruption generating circuits 33 and 34 is at ''0'' level. Thus, the AND gate 31 is in enable state, and the card detection code is inputted to the comparison circuit 41 via the AND gate 31 and the interruption generating circuit 33.
