To add rigidity resisting a load of a rear side occupant to a flange part by forming a flange part of an automobile rear tray, which is assembled and installed while being brought into contact in the seat back inclined face width direction, into a stair type stepped structure extending downward from the board face of a tray main body.
A rear tray R is formed into a predetermined three-dimensional shape by laminating a base board 10a molded of resin or wood by a coating member 10 made of leather, artificial leather, fabric, or the like. In molding of the base board 10a of the rear tray R, a flange part 11 is formed into a stair type stepped structure with two or three steps while its plate thickness is held substantially equal to that of the base board 10a of a tray main body 10. The flange part 11 is arranged while being brought into contact in the back part, inclined face width direction of a seat back B to which a load of an occupant on the rear side is applied, so that the stepped structure adds rigidity resisting a load of a rear side occupant to the flange part 11.
