To solve the problem that with conventional AVC device, there are too many keys on a remote controller, and a key input controller which is a main unit of the key unit controlling device is large in size.

By having small numbers of keys user-friendly and multifunction, the numeric keys which are generally called as ten-key keypad are assigned to be function keys without having all function keys on conventional remote controllers for both TV set and DVD player. And, for usability, numeric keys are served both in numeric input function and in function input function for both TV mode and DVD mode.
