To provide a keyboard supporting unit which is able to improve keyboard's operationality by tilting up the keyboard unit to a certain degree when used, without deflecting the keyboard unit.

Pinion gears (24a, 24b) which are rotated by interlocking with opening action of an open-close cover (16) shift rack bars (26a, 26b). The rack bars (26a, 26b) unevenly lift the supporting bars (22a-c) which constitute a multi- point supporting device and tilt up the far side of the above keyboard unit (18) higher than the near side of it. As the keyboard unit (18) is supported by multi-point, it is able to prevent deflections even when tilted up, and has no changes in its keystroke and so forth, and gives users no sense of discomfort with its operationality.
