PURPOSE: To provide a barrel available in a barrel polishing machine that is able to replace its lining very simply in a short time.

CONSTITUTION: A barrel 5 is made up of assembling and end plate 32 provided with linings 34, 39 on each surface of core plates 33, 38 and a side face plate 37, and if more suitable, the end plate 32 and the side face plate 37 are attached to a frame body 31 constituting a skeletal structure of the barrel 5 as its construction, whereby in the case where these linings 34 and 39 worn out and replacement is required, these of end plate 32 and side face plate 37 are changed for assemblage.
