Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a barrel polishing work and its manufacturing method where the production efficiency is excellent, the precision is high, and the variance is small.
CONSTITUTION: After a hardened layer 24 by the soft nitriding is formed on at least the surface of a polished work, the centerless grinding and the barrel polishing are executed successively to make the surface roughness below Rmax 0.8μm, the roundness below ±0.05% of the outer diameter, and the precision of the outer diameter below ±0.05% of the outer diameter.
