To provide a water discharge device for a bathtub that can improve work efficiency of maintenance work.SOLUTION: A water discharge device for a bathtub includes: a water discharge device provided to a bathtub for discharging hot water to the inside of the bathtub; an illumination device provided to the water discharge device for shining a light on the hot water discharged from the water discharge device; and an electric wire extending from a back side space of the bathtub to the illumination device through a through-hole of the bathtub for supplying power to the illumination device. The through-hole is formed separately from the waster discharge device and is closed by a plug part having an insertion hole into which the electric wire is inserted. The water discharge device can be attached/detached to/from the bathtub without detaching the plug part from the bathtub in a state that the electric wire is inserted into the through-hole of the bathtub and into the insertion hole of the plug part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
