Abstract:
To provide a battery module with high cooling performance while assuring high insulation property between a cell portion and a casing portion, which are required in a rolling stock.
The battery module in which a plurality of battery cells 2 are installed in parallel and housed therein includes a pedestal 3 carrying the plurality of cells 2, and a heat sink 4 including a plurality of heat radiation fins 8, wherein an insulating member 5 is provided between the pedestal 3 and the heat sink 4.
