To provide a battery pack that is further reduced in contour in addition to be reduced in size as whole, can simply and efficiently be assembled, and is improved in the rigidity of an outer package case.
The battery pack has a thin type battery 2 with a rectangular outer periphery mounted to the outer package case 1 and an insulating sheet 4 adhered to the surface. The outer package case 1 has openings 3 for exposing front and rear faces of the thin battery, making the whole shape in a U shape by integrally molding parallel frames 1b and a coupling frame 1a covering three outer peripheral faces of the thin battery 2. Thicknesses of the parallel frames 1b and the coupling frame 1a are almost equal to that of the thin battery 2 or thinner. The coupling frame 1a has electrode windows 7 opened to take output terminals 8 outside. The insulation sheet 4 adhered to the front and rear faces of the thin battery 2 is adhered to one of the outer periphery faces of the thin battery not covered with the outer package case 1, and also adhered to front faces of each parallel frames 1b to fix the parallel frames to the thin battery 2 and fix the outer package case 1 to a constant position of the thin battery 2.
