To prevent the misalignment of an insulation plate 2 disposed at a lower part of an electrode group 1 and thereby inhibiting the insulation plate 2 from being disposed at a welded portion between a negative electrode lead 6 and a case 5 in manufacturing processes of a battery.
An insulation plate 2 disposed at a lower part of an electrode group 1 is integrated with a central core 4, and a negative electrode lead 6 and a battery case 5 are welded. In this structure, the central core 4 inhibits the misalignment of the insulation plate 2 in manufacturing processes. Hence, the insulation plate 2 is inhibited from being disposed at a welded portion between the negative electrode lead 6 and a battery case 5 and thus the productivity of the battery is improved.
