Title:
BEAD PART STRUCTURE FOR PNEUMATIC TIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3469557
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively restrict the RFV while improving the uniformity of a wheel, and to improve the durability of a bead part.
SOLUTION: A tire bead part 2 is provided with a swelled heel 9 passing through a base point Q of a tire design corresponding to a cross point P of a straight line 1 formed by extending an inclined bead sheet 6 to a corner round recessed part 7 in a cross directional surface of a rim 3 and projected from a vertical line (n) suspended from the base point Q to a tire center axis. Rubber hardness of this swelled heel part 9 is set at 65 degree or more of JIS hardness, curvature radius R1 of the swelled heel part 9 within the tire cross sectional surface is set at 6.5 mm or less, and an annular recessed part 10 is provided at a part of the swelled heel 9 adjacent to a side wall part, and curvature radius R2 within the tire cross sectional surface of this annular recessed part is set at 0.8-2.0 times of the curvature radius R1 of the swelled heel 9.
