Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device that synchronizes the frequency of the reference clock of a remote transmitter and the frequency of a receiver clock under TCM-ISDN leakage.
SOLUTION: The method and device of this invention includes a transmitter that transmits at least one pilot tone symbol and a training mode indicator to a receiver, a phase error measurement device 602 that measures a phase error among a sample clock 506 and a symbol identifier 606 that instructs a symbol index relating to the most recent symbol and two pilot tone symbols so as to output the phase error, and a phase error decision device 604 that receives the phase error, the training mode indicator, and the symbol index and decides whether the phase error is to be neglected on the basis of the symbol index relating to the most recent symbol and training mode indicator.
