To provide a beam-column joint part structure of a rigid frame skeleton capable of preventing weight of a beam from being increased due to large thickness of web of the beam to prevent weight of a building from being excessively increased and preventing the occurrence of early rupture of a welded part in a flange end part of the beam and to provide a rolled H-steel used in the structure.
Yield strength (σy) of the rolled H-steel 41 is 325 MPa≤σy≤445 MPa, and yield ratio (YR) is set as follows: YR=σy/σu≤0.75 (wherein, σu denotes tensile strength, and σy denotes yield strength). A ratio of width to thickness of the web (d/t1) is 60<d/t1≤75 (wherein, d denotes width of the web, and t1 denotes thickness of the web). A ratio of width to thickness of flange (b/t2) is b/t2≤7.0 (wherein, b denotes width of a half of the flange, and t2 denotes thickness of the flange). Effective length (Lb) for lateral buckling is Lb≥2.5 m.
